A wordmark logo for a signage design and installation shop in Florida.
Ever the entrepreneur, my friend Jonathan Skinner expanded his business to include indoor and outdoor sign design, fabrication and installation services. He’d already done some research on fictitious names, and knew he wanted something with a medieval flair.
Sign Lords was the ultimate outcome, and the letterforms there immediately leant themselves to castle towers, complete with arrow slits, banners, crenellations and staircases.
Sketches were done in Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, then refined in Adobe Illustrator.
